What is Smart-ID

Smart-ID is your digital "passport". Smart-ID qualified version (full access account) allows Smart-ID user to identify themselves online simply, safely and quickly, register for receiving e-services and sign documents.

Your benefits when using Smart-ID qualified version with LMT

With Smart-ID you can perform any action on LMT websites remotely, and we can identify you as our customer to safely serve you.

  • Anyone can authorize on the My LMT website with Smart-ID, digitally sign contracts, manage LMT services and perform other self-service activities.
  • To save your time, we provide faster access to conversations with customer consultants and a wider range of possible actions when calling the information phone 80768076.
  • With Smart-ID you can sign contracts in LMT e-shop, so you can conveniently purchase devices and connect services.

Download the Smart-ID app on your smartphone or tablet.

To start using the app, you will need to authenticate.

How to authenticate in the Smart-ID app

To get Smart-ID and start using it, you will need to visit a bank branch (Swedbank, SEB bank or Luminor). When going to the bank, take your mobile phone and identification documents and ask the bank employee for help creating a Smart-ID account.

If you are not a client of the mentioned banks or do not use any bank service, you will need to activate e-signature to get Smart-ID. Read more about how to do it HERE

Smart-ID Basic

Smart-ID Basic or limited access account can only be used for internet banking operations.

Smart-ID

Smart-ID qualified version or full access account allows you to use all Smart-ID advantages – you will be able to access your bank accounts, use it in all e-services where Smart-ID solution is integrated, and digitally sign contracts. We recommend using this account to enjoy wider opportunities!

How to distinguish Smart-ID versions

Open the Smart-ID app on your phone and see what background color it has. For Smart-ID Basic it will be green, while Smart-ID qualified version or full access account has white background color.

How to change your Smart-ID Basic to Smart-ID qualified version

If you currently use limited access Smart-ID, we invite you to switch to full access Smart-ID account to access all e-services and be able to sign documents with secure digital signature.

What is needed to connect Smart-ID qualified version

  • You will need to register Smart-ID full access account with biometric identification.
  • You must have an active Smart-ID account or access to contact information entered when registering Smart-ID (phone number, email address).
  • Smart-ID app version 19 or newer.
  • Passport or ID card. Biometric passport and ID card have this symbol: ID icon
  • Device must support NFC technology.If your device does not support NFC or camera does not work, then Smart-ID app will not offer to use biometric method.
Android devices must have Android 5 or newer operating system version. iOS devices – iOS 13 or newer operating system version (starting from iPhone 7, iPod Touch 5th generation, iPad 2, all iPad Mini).
