The next step in the biometric identification process is electronic chip scanning.
To verify personal identity, as well as document validity and authenticity, the app needs to access the document chip.

You will need to place the mobile device on the document, find the connection point (possibly requiring slight position correction following on-screen instructions) and wait for the app to read the information.

The app has accessed the chip and read all necessary information when more blue dots gradually appear in the line. When this happens, do not move the device!
